We are delighted you are considering Cedar Spring as your church home.  It is our prayer your decision and a new path to membership will be a blessing to the body of Christ, your life, and our church family.

We trust you will find the steps below helpful as you join your faith with God our Father, Jesus our Savior, the Holy Spirit our comforter and the Cedar Spring Baptist Church family.

 

Our Steps

First:  Becoming a Member

​

We welcome you to join Cedar Spring by completing the ‘new member’ form, join in person at the church, or a letter of membership transfer.

 

Second:  New Members/Disciple Orientation Class

​

After joining Cedar Spring Baptist Church, a schedule of  ‘New Member/Disciple Orientation class will be provided.

​

Third:  Baptism and ‘The Right Hand of Fellowship’

​

As a new member, if you have not been baptized or  would like to be baptized, baptism will take place at a later date.*.  The church administrative staff will contact you .

 

At Cedar Spring, baptism is carried out according to the ‘Baptist Ordinance’ with water immersion according to Matthew 3: 1 - 7, Acts 8: 26 – 39, and Romans 6: 4 - 11.

After baptism or the acknowledgment for new member transfer,  you will receive the ‘Right Hand of Fellowship’*.
